I can often find definitions of single words, but try a search of that term once...all you'll see are scientific papers using the term in a complex setting of way too much jargon. It's hard to find definitions of "phrases" in textbooks too. I'm sure someone has been in the same boat. Where can you get more information on stuff like that without takingmedical picture dictionary a whole heart physiology class or reading a whole textbook cover to cover or finding an expert in the field? I'm sure if I read enough of these papers I'll figure out what it is, but there must be some dictionary or encyclopedia (and I've checked online encyclopedias) that would be able to help understand complex terms like that. Until then I'll keep reading tmedical picture dictionaryhese papers until I find one with a nice diagram or picture that gives me a clue as to what stuff like that is.

The full question is - what is your perspective on how students learn? What is your perspective on how teachers should teach? What is the realtionship between theories of learning and theories of teaching?
I've started by answering the first two questions - saying that students and teachers all have preferred styles to teaching and learning, but both should employ a variety of methods to get the best outcomes.
However the second part of the question I'm lacking in detail, here's what I have:
There are four major theories in teaching, Constructivist, Behavioural, Cognitive & Humanistic. Theories of teaching facilitate theories of learning. Therefore teachers need to be flexible and reflective to pick up how students respond to different teaching methods. Reflective teaching: the process of thinking about one’s teaching with a goal of improving one’s teaching. Rarely would anyone one theory of teaching be used in isolation.
Any suggestions with what I can add??
One cannot be/exist without the other.

Cognitive theories are related more to how students learn materials. This can help you to teach students ways to learn effectireflective learning questionsvely (how memory works, how to get information into long-term memory, how to monitor your own learning--meta-cognition). Humanistic theories of learning suggest two things--that the relationship between the teacher and learner is very important, and teachers should work diligently to have a good relationship with students. It also suggests that motivation for learning is internal, and teachers need to sometimes "get out of the way" of learning. Finally, the behavioral theories of learning suggest that the learning environment makes a big difference. Behavioral theories are useful for motivating students to learn, and they have a lot to say about how to teach students material in an organized fashion.

While I was gone, he cleaned my whole house, stripped, mopped, and waxed my kitchen floor. Bought me some new furniture and told me he loved me on the phone. Dummy me thought he was going to leave his wife. He didn't and went on to find another stupid woman who was willing to do the same thing as I was but she was a little younger, and no kids. I was very upset for a long time after that but I should have expected any better. His wife ended up divorcing him and he has gotten well less attractive as he has gotten older. Don't feel bad, you made a mistake. Move on and learn from it like I did.

To learn web design, first you have to learn HTML. HTML is very easy to learn. Just type some code (tags in HTML terms) in windows notepad & here you are..the most basic of your website is created. After that you can learn CSS for adding presentation i.e. colors,fonts etc to the HTML. & the interesting thing is that you will also write CSS in windows notepad. Then you can learn Javascript for adding functionality. After that you can move to advance level of web designing.
So, the software to create & design a website is Windows Notepad.
(You have some image editing software as such a Adobe Photoshop or try free downloadable GIMP)
I suggest you to use Adobe Dreamweaver as it will be very much easy for you to design your website.

Search google for "table html" research find out how <table>, <th>, <tr>, and <td> fit into coding and the importance of the closing tag </td>, </tr>, etc. work.
Build a balearn web design freesic website structure. From there do keyword searches for what you want to do. For example if you want to add a CSS style sheet to do all of your visual enhancements, search CSS in html on google.
Google has a lot of the basic, intermediate, and even some advanced web site creation content.
If that absolutely doesn't work. Some of the websites that I use as a reference are:
- basic web programming
- hexi decimal color codes
- a quick listing of many common html tags.
Some people can also figure out how web design works by trying to modify a completed project.

All you Canadian gamers out there who own either a ps3 or an Xbox 360 (or both), which system do you like the best, and why? I know worldwide that Xbox 360 is winning with sales (mainly due to American and European sales), but especially with the ps3 price drop, ps3 is winning again in Japan and almost on par in Europe (rumor has it). But I'm never able to find any states for ps3 sales. Microsoft is open with their sales numbers, but Sony stays on the smart side and gives results in relation only to previous year ps3 sales. You can spend real money to make your avatar look good and everything about your profile like what is the reason for that? The xbox controller is also very weird because your hand in streched out and it seems tough to get into. Also when MW3 came out Xbox was the leader in lagging and connection issus. xbox also lacks in graphics compared to pc and ps3

Hello well Im 31 weeks pregnant and finding it difficult sleeping. I can handle the getting up to go to the toilet 6 times a night but its just once Im up my mind switches on like a light bulb and cant switch it off!! My partners snoring doesn't help either! I have a pregnancy pillow and sleeping pillow ist but need something more! Help!!!
Unfortunately there isn't really anything that will help you sleep, if there was believe me I would have found it by now after 3 pregnancies!
Just try and get as much sleep as you can whenever you feel tired, whether it be during the day or late in the evening, I dont know how easy this would be for you....if you have other children, work etc... but just try and get as much rest as possible

It can be very uncomfortable, but you haven't got too long left.

the game is continous...no cheats or glitches...best way i found is after u get around 2000 points in the first room (dont buy any weapons...just use your pistol)....open the bottom door to the left...do not open the back door...this makes a good standing ground with 2 windows on each side and a fire trap if things get hectic.....also there is a machine gun to rack up some points....after u get up about 7000 points....go upstairs and open everything else to get to the power and get juggernaug and find the box to get better guns....then return back to the first room i told you about with the fire trap....made it to round 27 this way with just 2 ppl....hope this helps

okay, i have been thinking of a way to write down my thoughts so here it goes. whether you love, or hate the jonas brothers i ask that you PLEASE read this. but mostly the haters because i want to reach out to them and try to make them understand. if you have a couple minutes please read this and comment with your thought. thank you. p.s. it nay take a while to read, but i needed to get it all out! thank you.
I don’t see why people have to hate the Jonas brothers. They are the only band that people hate on. They actually do have good music, and before I liked them I confess that I had called them “gay”. But gay as in stupid not as in they like boys, but that was because I never gave them a chance. I had only heard parts of a couple of their songs, and I didn’t like them that much so I automatically put them in my “gay” category. I feel so horrible for doing that because now I am a huge fan. I’ll tell you my story on how I started liking them. Okay so, I didn’t really like them hat much, but then my friend had an extra ticket to their concert and she said she would pay for it so I said okay, why not. Free concert, she has no one else to go with, sure. So I went and I didn’t know any of the lyrics except for like three songs and I was like wow, they actually aren’t so bad. And after the concert, I just started liking them more and more. And now I am in love with them. I mean, they are such cool people. They are nice, and they have real values. And they are so funny. And I am not one of those people that like music like pop and Disney channel crap, but they are nothing like that. They have good lyrics, and they know how to respect girls. And they are the only people on Disney channel that I actually like, I think that everyone else is not that great, and they are like cutesy and made for Disney, I don’t know how to say it but the Jonas brothers are not like that! No one understands it. And just because they are one Disney channel, don’t think of them as stupid pop star kid crap because there music is actually really good. Once you watch their videos, you kind of fall even more in love with them and you start thinking about them on a daily basis. And I am not one of those people that say stuff like “OH MY JONAS”, and all that stuff. But I am a huge fan. Although some people are like omj, I’m not like that. And I am telling you the reasons why I love them. I just wish people would listen instead of hating them, and I wish people would change their perspectives on them. It really sucks how much all us fans love them and all this, and we see hate videos and people that dedicate their life to them and you just automatically judge the, and call them “gay”, no talent, bad singers, stupid, all this crap. Please, just listen to me. My perspective changed, and I really hope yours can to because they are wonderful people. If you read all this, thank you so much. In many ways I see the backlash against this group as a repeat of history. Back when I was in seventh grade the group New Kids on The Block were getting to be very popular. They were a big sensation and they came from a more Disney background. People liked them and you would see their posters in teen magazines. Then all of a sudden it was just cooler to hate them tell my why lyrics jonas brothersthan to like them. MTV wouldn't even air their videos (this was back when they still actually showed videos). I guess as much as people like to see someone make it big and rise to the top, it is just as gratifying to watch those that are on top crash and burn. And if they don't, people will just pick at them until they do crash and burn. Fans are fickle and people can be mean. It amazes me how passionate a person can get about something they love, whether it is a musician or actor. It can be funny how overboard a person can get. But it is even more amazing how the haters can be just as obsessed. They hate a person or group but all they talk about it that group and what is so wrong with them. Why put that much energy into something you claim not to care about? This girl I was in college with had this major hate for the Spice Girls. The crazy thing was the way she acted you would have thought she loved them. She bought their music. She said it was so she would know how bad it was and know all the lyrics so she could make fun of it. She hung posters up in her dorm room. They had mustaches drawn on their faces and body hair where it shouldn't be. It point is, most people who don't care for something just ignore it. They don't hate on it or love on it. It doesn't mean enough to them to put any kind of energy into it. The empassioned hater or lover is just the other side of the same coin. As much as you get out of loving the Jonas Brothers there is someone else out there getting their jollies by hating on them. And there is nothing they love better than to get a rise out of a Jonas Brothers lover by giving them a hard time.

Listen, it's cool that you want people to like them, that's being a good fan, but you need to understand that for some people, that's just not their cup of tea. You're all about telling people their music is really good, but to some it may not be. I'm 23 and when I was in 6th grade the Backstreet Boys came out, and trust me when I say I was ALL up on that and I was just like you in trying to figure out why some people would hate on them so much. As I grew more mature, however, I realized that every person has different tastes and every person will like different music. Now, 11, almost 12 years later, I'm still a huge fan of BSB, but I don't try and force them on anyone. Listen to their stuff, dance when no one is watching, and let it go. The JBros aren't my thing, but they are yours, that's just how we roll.

I don’t see why people have to hate the Jonas brothers. They are the only band that people hate on. They actually do have good music, and before I liked them I confess that I had called them “gay”. But gay as in stupid not as in they like boys, but that was because I never gave them a chance. I had only heard parts of a couple of their songs, and I didn’t like them that much so I automatically put them in my “gay” category. I feel so horrible for doing that because now I am a huge fan. I’ll tell you my story on how I started liking them. Okay so, I didn’t really like them hat much, but then my friend had an extra ticket to their concert and she said she would pay for it so I said okay, why not. Free concert, she has no one else to go with, sure. So I went and I didn’t know any of the lyrics except for like three songs and I was like wow, they actually aren’t so bad. And after the concert, I just started liking them more and more. And now I am in love with them. I mean, they are such cool people. They are nice, and they have real values. And they are so funny. And I am not one of those people that like music like pop and Disney channel crap, but they are nothing like that. They have good lyrics, and they know how to respect girls. And they are the only people on Disney channel that I actually like, I think that everyone else is not that great, and they are like cutesy and made for Disney, I don’t know how to say it but the Jonas brothers are not like that! No one understands it. And just because they are one Disney channel, don’t think of them as stupid pop star kid crap because there music is actually really good. Once you watch their videos, you kind of fall even more in love with them and you start thinking about them on a daily basis. And I am not one of those people that say stuff like “OH MY JONAS”, and all that stuff. But I am a huge fan. Although some people are like omj, I’m not like that. And I am telling you the reasons why I love them. I just wish people would listen instead of hating them, and I wish people would change their perspectives on them. It really sucks how much all us fans love them and all this, and we see hate videos and people that dedicate their life to them and you just automatically judge the, and call them “gay”, no talent, bad singers, stupid, all this crap. Please, just listen to me. My perspective changed, and I really hope yours can to because they are wonderful people. If you read all this, thank you so much. In many ways I see the backlash against this group as a repeat of history. Back when I was in seventh grade the group New Kids on The Block were getting to be very popular. They were a big sensation and they came from a more Disney background. People liked them and you would see their posters in teen magazines. Then all of a sudden it was just cooler to hate them tell my why lyrics jonas brothersthan to like them. MTV wouldn't even air their videos (this was back when they still actually showed videos). I guess as much as people like to see someone make it big and rise to the top, it is just as gratifying to watch those that are on top crash and burn. And if they don't, people will just pick at them until they do crash and burn. Fans are fickle and people can be mean. It amazes me how passionate a person can get about something they love, whether it is a musician or actor. It can be funny how overboard a person can get. But it is even more amazing how the haters can be just as obsessed. They hate a person or group but all they talk about it that group and what is so wrong with them. Why put that much energy into something you claim not to care about? This girl I was in college with had this major hate for the Spice Girls. The crazy thing was the way she acted you would have thought she loved them. She bought their music. She said it was so she would know how bad it was and know all the lyrics so she could make fun of it. She hung posters up in her dorm room. They had mustaches drawn on their faces and body hair where it shouldn't be. It point is, most people who don't care for something just ignore it. They don't hate on it or love on it. It doesn't mean enough to them to put any kind of energy into it. The empassioned hater or lover is just the other side of the same coin. As much as you get out of loving the Jonas Brothers there is someone else out there getting their jollies by hating on them. And there is nothing they love better than to get a rise out of a Jonas Brothers lover by giving them a hard time.

Listen, it's cool that you want people to like them, that's being a good fan, but you need to understand that for some people, that's just not their cup of tea. You're all about telling people their music is really good, but to some it may not be. I'm 23 and when I was in 6th grade the Backstreet Boys came out, and trust me when I say I was ALL up on that and I was just like you in trying to figure out why some people would hate on them so much. As I grew more mature, however, I realized that every person has different tastes and every person will like different music. Now, 11, almost 12 years later, I'm still a huge fan of BSB, but I don't try and force them on anyone. Listen to their stuff, dance when no one is watching, and let it go. The JBros aren't my thing, but they are yours, that's just how we roll.

If you download it for free then the gamemaker doesn't get any money for his work! Its just like illegally downloading music, except worse because these days most decent games cost upwards of $30mill to make.
If everyone pirated everything, then there would be no more game development since why would someone develop a game that would make them no money (or a loss).
It's like stealing a patent. However as long as your illegally downloading your game for home usage (no reselling) than the charges that will go against you if your caught won't be as bad.
Maybe that is a a free game paid for via advertising (freeware or trial software).
These companies paid good money to develop these games, and they want to make a profit. That's like asking why it's illegal for me to come into your house and take your TV for free, it's not mine and I didn't pay for it.
Same with games, if you didn't pay for it, and you download it, it's stealingames i can downloadg (unless the publisher is providing it for free, which is rare).
