icebreaker questions for couplesQuestion for girls who are social drinkers?

So, I don't drink, but I have a couple questions about that.

First off, a lot of people tell me that going out for drinks is a good icebreaker first date kind of thing. Since I don't drink, I never do this b/c I don't want to come off as one of those guys who's just trying to get her drunk. I usually suggest coffee. But given that I don't drink, would it be okay for me to ask a girl out for drinks? (my guess is no, but just asking to see)

Also, if, as a girl, you enjoy going to parties, bars and/or clubs to drink and dance w/ friends would it be a turn off for you to date a guy who does not drink? Or is it no big deal to continue going out w/ friends sometimes and just do other stuff w/ the boyfrieicebreaker questions for couplesnd?
I would find it strange to date a guy who didn't drink. I only know one or two people who don't enjoy a sociable drink or two sometimes. I think it would be possible as long as he didn't look down on me for drinking or try to stop me having a good time.

I'm sure you could ask a girl out for drinks, but my guess is she might feel self- conscious or awkward if she's drinking and you aren't. It's not something most people like to do alone.
i actually prefer a guy who doesn't drink, or drinks socially on occassion.

As for a guy taking me out for drinks who doesn't drink...that would be strange to me. Coffee is a better choice.
You can ask her out for drinks and then order a soft drink.

Usually icebreaker questions for couplesthey put cute little things in it so it still looks like you're have an alcoholic beverage.

Don't assume everyone drinks.....because they don't.
I have a friend who always tell the bartender to give him coke with no Alcohol no matter what he orders. I don't think he has ever been found out by his girlfriends. He just acts a little goofy and they think he is high. lol
just because you go to the bar doesn't mean you have to order an alcoholic drink. i don't see it as a turnoff if the guy doesn't drink. that's your personal choice, and being with a non drinker will be the least of my worries.
